Roc aux sorciers

I went to visit the fac-simile of Roc-aux-Sorciers, at Angle-sur-Anglin. The original is not open to public ; If you get the archeologue guide, it's OK, you can ask all the questions ; there are many other sites in our province, some are of Neanderthals', some of Magdalenians', the Roc-aux-Sorciers is 15000 years old and of Cro-Magnons', our direct ancestors that have been living there for a millenarium. So, I guess that ruins the creationism theory. Anyway they were already clever sculptors. There is a Hall with a panoramic video, the pics are beautiful, but the sound track is kind of messy, too many incoherent messages, that's why the "visite guidée" is more interesting.

You like cave-paintings? So do I. Actuaklly my late mother was a naif artist and really liked paleolithic art and used the themes in her paintings. Also neolithic rock carvings from the Italian Alps and aboriginal art.
So one year I gave her a treat and we visited the Dordoge to see Lascaux II and one or two of the other rock art caves around there. Also other things. On that trip we visited Sarlat, Les Eyezes, Cahors, Tolouse, Carcassonne, and Albi. What a great trip!
yes, I like it ; I find that "primitiv" way of expression close to mine ; the natural sense of "sacré" in the whole nature
so, you went to Dordogne, I bet you made also a trip for tasting the "foie gras" in Sarlat, and the "cassoulet" in Toulouse
I have also been to Lascaux ; too many people around now, so the pleasure is a bit light when you have to wait too long and then no time for really looking at the pics ;
it's been a long time I went to Toulouse, never had time to arrest in Carcassone or Albi, though I had like to visit these places so much
